He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Rechtin and Louise Rechtin. He is survived by: his wife Shielda Rechtin; his daughter Krissy Wood; his grandchildren, Elizabeth and J. T. Wood; his pet Macy; his brothers, Gary and Greg Rechtin; and his stepchildren, Deborah Inman (Kagan), Brenda Moody and Rogers Moody.
