It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Charles McMurry of La Porte, Texas, born in Lake Charles, Louisiana, who passed away on July 24, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude P. McMurry and Wilma McMurry (Plaisance); his wife Louise McMurry; and his children, Richard McMurry and Patricia Spinks.
He is survived by: his children, Ronald Charles McMurry (Madeline) of Livingston, Texas and Danya Walker (Brad) of Pasadena, Texas; his grandchildren, Melissa Tingue (John), Robert Lane, Jr. (Caroline), Timothy Lane (Jackie), Aaron McMurry (Meagan), Summer Schillings (Robert), Bradley Walker, Jr., James Walker (Fawn), Jennifer Sanders and Ross McMurry (Chloe); and his daughter-in-law Jan McMurry. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
