We are sad to announce that on March 9, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Martha Valentine Simpson of La Porte, Texas, born in Lufkin, Texas. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Hazel Inez (Boatman) and John Jacob Durham; and her son Jason Herchell Valentine. She is survived by: her husband J. Simpson of La Porte; her children, Michael Valentine (Brandi) of Seabrook and Samantha Simpson Chaplain (Jeremiah) of Alvin; her granddaughters, Margaret Chaplain, Amelia Chaplain, Molly Valentine and Nora Chaplain; her siblings, Janice Williams, Sarah Moore and John Jacob Durham; and her nieces and nephews, Eric, James Parnell, Cody Durham, Rebecca Parnell and Marcie Hull.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to her favorite charities, Texas Children's Hospital or St. Jude's.
