He was predeceased by: his parent Hermance Ermay; and his wife Evelyn Hooper. He is survived by: his children, Patron Washington (Nicole), Kimmy Washington (Kristi), Eric Washington (Gena), Cassandra Manning, Kimya Allen (Wendell) and Ottis Merritt (Ashley). He is also survived by his nineteen grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a wide circle of dear friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the External Service Location (224 N 7th St, La Porte, TX 77571). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Grand View Memorial Park (8516 Spencer Hwy, Deer Park, TX 77536).
