Juanita S. Gonzales Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Juanita S. Gonzales of La Porte, Texas, born in Combes, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 11, 2024 at the age of 85. She was predeceased by: her parents, Eufracio Salazar and Esther Salazar; and her siblings, Antonio Aguilar, Alejandro Aguilar, Maria Zepeda, Evelia Aguilar, Petra Gonzales, Seferino "Toné" Salazar, Eufracio "Coco" Salazar and David Salazar.
She is survived by: her children, Oscar Garcia, Jr. (Sally), Cesar Garcia (Maria Elena), Mario Garcia (Nora), Ruben Garcia and Toni Gallegos (Joe); her grandchildren, Cindy, Oscar III, Celina, Cassy, Andrea, Cesar II, Mario, Sonia, Jessica, Joe, Paul, Jennifer, Ruben James, Janie Catherine (JC), Amanda, Christina and Joseph; and her siblings, Lucila S. Green, Anita Mendiola, Albert Aguilar and Aida Juarez. She is also survived by 34 great grandchildren, and 7 great great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM at the Rudy Garza Funeral Home - Harlingen (1702 E Harrison Ave, Harlingen, TX 78550). A rosary was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church (313 W Buchanan St, Harlingen, TX 78550).
