He was predeceased by: his son Marc Farrugia; his parents, Carmela Farrugia and Carmelo Farrugia; and his siblings, Mitzia, Tony, George and Nelly.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara Farrugia; his sister Jane; and his children, Amy Jones (Trent Jones), Kim Picou (Tony Picou) and Arnold McGill (Dena McGill). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
