He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Montez and Simon Montez; and his siblings, Robert and Modesta. He is survived by: his wife Dalia Montez; his daughters, Jessica John (Larry), Joann John (Jimmy), Joyce John and Husband John; his grandchildren, John Boy, Jessica, Janet, Larissa, Jamie, Jenna and Jillian; and his siblings, Simon, Frank (Chayo), Helen, Lydia, Susan and Irma (Gilbert). He is also survived by husband, father, and grandfather and will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family asks for contributions to Pancreatic Cancer Research in memory of Joe Montez.
