He was predeceased by: his parents, James Miller and Marguerite Miller (Spacek); his son Christopher Miller; and his siblings, Thelma Miller, Frances Adams (Miller) and Milton Miller.

He is survived by: his wife Cleo W. Miller; his daughter Deborah Berg (Jim); his sister G. Elizabeth Steele (Ron); his granddaughters, Christina Hilner and Jenna Deao; and his great grandchildren, Emma, Ryland, Charlie and Channing. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and their spouses.
