It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Horance Alton Leopard of La Porte, Texas, born in Henderson, Texas, who passed away on May 10, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Thornton and Essie Taylor Leopard; his wife Peggy Sue Snelgrove Leopard; and his sisters, Francis and Helen.
He is survived by: his children, Jason Leopard, Lorilee Leopard and Amy Sharp (Richard); his sisters, Lois Greer and Shirley Greer; and his grandchildren, Jackson Lee (Carli Wheeless) and Kelsey Miller (Ben). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The Salvation Army was dear to him and, as long as he was able, you could find him ringing the bell for donations at Christmas or selling cases of red delicious apples as a fundraiser.
