He was predeceased by: his parents, Mark Oddest Rushing and Winnie Mildred Huff Rushing; his daughter Theresa Ann Rushing; and his siblings, James Paul Rushing and Lenna Anita Rushing Trussel.
He is survived by: his wife Agnes Rushing; his sons, Mark and Joseph Rushing; his daughters-in-law, Brenda and Jeanie Rushing; his grandchildren, Kelly Torres, Gregory Rushing, Benjamin Rushing, Sarah Purlee, Emily Walker and Karlie Rushing; his in-laws, Eugene Torres, Sarah Rushing and Neal Purlee; and his grandchildren, Nathaniel, Layla, Alena and Hope Torres.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Grand View Funeral Home (8501 Spencer Hwy, Pasadena, TX 77505). A rosary was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:11 AM at the St Mary's Church (816 Park Dr, La Porte, TX 77571).
