It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of George William Strasemeier of La Porte, Texas, born in Madison, Indiana, who passed away on November 9, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles C. Strasemeier and Mary Louise Sargent Strasemeier; his sisters, Sharon Louise Strasemeier Bell and Nancy Carol Strasemeier; and his stepmother Lillian Mae Kirtley Strasemeier.

He is survived by: his sister Linda Springer of Hanover, Indiana; his close friend Lori Staton; his adoptive daughter Kristy; and his close friend Rick McClelland. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
