He is survived by: his wife Phan Thi Long Hinojosa; his children, Theresa Hinojosa Abner, Félix Hinojosa Jr., Sylvia Hinojosa Copeland, Richard Hinojosa, Barbara Hinojosa and Marie Hinojosa Carroll; his siblings, Paul Hinojosa, Anna Verastegui and Eva Howell; and also Bruce. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Pasadena Funeral Chapel (2203 Pasadena Blvd, Pasadena, TX 77502). A burial was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the South Park Cemetery (1310 N Main St, Pearland, TX 77581).
