She was predeceased by: her parents, Morris Bates and Evelyn Bates; and her brother Morris Bates, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Cedrick Merrick (Kisha), Jamie Robinson and Nicklas Robinson; her husband Nick Robinson of La Porte, TX.; her sister Beverly Wright; her nephew Morris Bates; her nieces, Danielle Wright, Brigette Sabbs (Marcus) and Jasmine Bates; and her great-niece Jaya Bates. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
