He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas Chesser and Wilhelmina Chesser; his former wife Patricia Ann Maddox; his wife Helen Chesser; his children, Billy H. Chesser Jr., Craig Allen Chesser and Sharon Raynell Pheris; his son-in-law Ray Pheris Jr.; and his sisters, Jaunita Griffin and Betty Ann Griffin.
He is survived by: his daughters, Patricia "Trish" Lawney (Butch), Karen Gaynell Gibson (David) and Dana Chesser; and his sister Barbara Burlingame. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren.
