He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Irene Ruiz and Abel Garcia Sr.; his children, Tracy Mcallister and Troy Pinger; his siblings, Celia Garcia, Sobeda Kyne, Corina Herndon, Laura Gipson, Bernie Garcia and Jessie Garcia; and his granddaughters, Megan, Brittany and Chloe Mcallister. He was also cherished by numerous family members and friends.
