She was predeceased by: her husband Alfred Ray Sr. of Brenham; and her sister Ursula Shaw of La Marque. She is survived by: her children, Alecia Lemelle of Hitchcock, Alfred Ray Jr. (Gay) of Joshua, TX and William "Bubba" Ray (Reniece) of Texas City; her niece Joyce Bell of La Marque; her grandsons, Daniel Ross Taylor (Suzy) of Lubbock, William Patrick Watt of Friendswood and Aaron Jordan "A. J." Ray of Sugar Land; and her great-niece Ursula Katrease Hare (Anthony) of Dickinson. She is also survived by friends and other relatives.
