It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Louise Harkreader of La Marque, Texas, who passed away on July 13, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Marshall Harley and Elsie Irene Sublett; her husband Jerry C. Harkreader; her daughter Sharon Harkreader Salazar; and her sister Molly Mahl.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry Harkreader Jr. (Carolyn) of Loganville, GA and Danny Harkreader (Arline) of DeRidder, LA; her siblings, Barbara Puckett (Joe) of Atlanta and Roger H. Sublett (Cindy) of Cincinnati; her grandchildren, Jonna Osborne (James) of Atlanta, Krista Charen (Adam) of Atlanta, Emily Lanting (Eric) of Las Vegas, NV, Amy Harkreader of Richmond, TX, Cliff Harkreader of DeRidder, LA and Christopher Salazar (Emily) of La Porte, TX; and her great grandchildren, Anna, Sam Charen, Grace, John, Mark Lanting, Sydney, Jack Osborne, Cheyanne, Hayley, Asher, Ezekiel Salazar and Ben Shillingburg. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
