He is survived by: his siblings, Cecil Parson Jr., Maxine Parson, Larry Parson, Norma Jean Otems, Charlene Jackson, Oliver Parson and Preston Parson; and his children, Sam Parson Jr., Natreena Parson, Alice Lemons, Darla Parson and Felisha Parson. He is also survived by his seventeen grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins.
