With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maria Elena Perez of La Marque, Texas, who passed away on September 17, 2023 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Guadalupe Villarreal and Juanita Villarreal; her husband Pedro Perez; her daughter Guadalupe Hilda Perez; her brothers, Domingo, Rafael, Jesus and Guadalupe; and her grandson James Wilson.
She is survived by: her siblings, Santos Villarreal and Juanita Reyes; her daughters, Laura (Gerald Bodin), Leticia (Joe Wilson), Blanca (David Comeaux) and Norma Bobo of Austin; and her grandchildren, Allen (Sara Bodin), Lauren (David Thevenote), Tiffany (Jim Lester), Joe Wilson, Jonathan Wilson, Scott Comeaux, Sarah Comeaux (Matthew Garcia) and Tara Bayliss. She is also survived by great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
