She was predeceased by: her parents, Boyce Preston Franklin and Eda Marie Rygaard (Thomas H. Ober); her daughter Jynell Myree Ober; and her brothers, Boyce Preston Franklin, Jr. and James Willis Franklin.
She is survived by: her sons, Kirk (Cheryl Ober) of Minneapolis, MN and David (Hollie Ober) of Frisco, TX; her grandchildren, Jenna Marie Ober, Collin Scott Ober, Evan Thomas Ober and Grant Nelson Franklin Ober; her sister Patricia Smith of LaMarque; and her spouse Thomas H. Ober. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nephews, nieces and friends.
