He was predeceased by: his parents, John H. Catching, Sr. and Thelma Catching; his brother Donald Catching (Buddy); and his wife Barbara. He is survived by: his brother Jerry Catching of Kingsland, Texas; his brother-in-law William "Billy" Dipuccio (Sharon); his sons, John Michael Catching, Sr. (Cathy), Gregory Dale Catching (Kristen), William Scott Catching, Sr., David Christopher Catching and Jeffrey Darren Catching; and his grandsons, Michael Catching and Scott Catching. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
