It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Roma Thorp (La Marque, Texas), born in Celeste, Texas, who passed away on June 8, 2019, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Estelle Simms and Alton Simms; his wife Wynona Yvonne; his children, Jerry Michael, Private Ricky Lynn, Donald Ray "Biggie" and Sheila Marie; and his son-in-law Thomas Ray Linton, Jr..
He is survived by: his siblings, Willie and Frances Walls; his children, Diane Marceaux (Curley "Pookie"), Jessica Linton, Ronald Jay (Julie) and Jerry Lee "Junior"; his grandchildren, Kendal Jordan (Rusty), Kenny Cram (Debbie), Christopher Thorp and Ashley Thorp; and his great grandchildren, Kelsey Coutorie, Dariane Cram, Kallen Cram, Kayden Thorp and Kai Thorp. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
