We are sad to announce that on February 21, 2019, at the age of 97, Harriet Gay Crider Heckendorn (La Marque, Texas), born in Galveston, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Gay and Nina Ava Mann Gay; her husbands, Stanley V. Crider and John H. Heckendorn; and her brother Joseph M Gay, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Jeanine Crider Gunderson (Brian), Colette Crider Willis (Thomas), Darla Crider Collins (James), Alan Crider (Mary) and Bradley Crider; her stepchildren, Barbara Heckendorn and Aletha Heckendorn; and her sister Nina Gay Mora. She is also survived by five grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Foundation.
