With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Geneva Stafford of La Marque, Texas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Geneva left this world on February 8, 2025 at the age of 96, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugo Muery and Ida Muery; her brother Charles Ray Muery; the father of her children James "Buddy" Fewell; and her husband Dewey Womack Stafford Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Douglas Fewell (Carol), Michael Fewell (Kathy), Jennifer Moree (Chip) and Dennis Fewell (Johnette); her stepchildren, Connie Kinerd (Carl), Paula Lemmus (Leo) and Dewey Stafford III; her sister-in-law Shirley Muery; and her cousins, Beverly Riniker and Lillian Arrington. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Bellville United Methodist Church (234 S Masonic St, Bellville, TX 77418). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Oak Knoll Cemetery.
