She is survived by: her husband Napoleon Ashton; her daughters, Devinn Wilkins of La Marque, Ebony Smith (Jason) of Texas City and Theressa Wilkins of Brooklyn; her grandchildren, Byron Smith, Braxton Smith and Jasmine Smith; her stepchildren, Napoleon Morris, Jarvis Ashton and Tamela Ashton; her sisters, Carrie Bell-Peace of Boston, Massachusetts, Martha Rae Bell of Galveston, Texas, Laura Faye Bell of Beaumont, Texas, Brunetta Bell of Atlanta, Georgia and Brenda Joyce Bell of Minneapolis, Minnesota; and her siblings-in-law, Jessie Smith, Debra Dimes, Lillian Scott, Willie Ashton, Joe Ashton and William Ashton. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, extended family and close friends.
