It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl Joseph Simien (La Marque, Texas), born in Vinton, Louisiana, who passed away on March 12, 2018, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Debra Simien; his children, Cicely Simien, Dana Simien, Kendra Simien and Robert Davis; his siblings, Theresa Morrow (Alex), Linda Rosario (Alberto), Harold Simien, Melvin Simien, Jr., Paul Simien, Sr., Howard Simien, Christopher Simien, Sr. and Sam Simien, Sr.; and his father Chack Puthumayil. He is also survived by grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
