He is survived by: his wife Cleo Filer; his son Wayne Henry Filer; his stepchildren, Leonard Jeffrey Bitner and Kimberly Dawn Knight; and his sisters, Willie Mae Maniscalco and Theresa Lillian Lacina. He is also survived by five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
