He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dominga Gonzalez and Zenon Reyna; his wife Corina Reyna; and his children, Silvia Trevino, Ramiro Reyna Rosendo Reyna (Rosalinda), San Juanita Trevino (Erbey), Zenon Reyna, Yolanda Reyna (Jaime Alvarado), Leonel Reyna Jr. (Elizabeth) and Sandra Trevino (Samuel Jr.).
