He is survived by: his wife Blanca Lamar Gonzalez-Martinez; his children, Raymond Lee Orta (Keely), Joe David Martinez Jr. and Chelsea Lamar Martinez; his grandchildren, Epic Orta, Leyenda Orta, Dylan Pruitt and Brooke Pruitt; and his sister Norma I. Martinez.
