He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugo Buerger and Nora Buerger (Lienemann); his siblings, Sandra Miller and Harry Buerger; and his son-in-law Don Dupree.
He is survived by: his significant other Annie Miller; his children, Melonie Kenerson (Mike), Angela Dupree and Mitchell Buerger (Pamela); and his siblings, Richard Buerger and Linda Keating. He is also survived by five grandchildren; four great grandchildren.
