He was predeceased by: his parents, Edna Louise Boettcher (Mueller) and Albert Boettcher; his siblings, Winston Boettcher, Sr. and Verna Mae Becker; his brother-in-law Monroe Becker; his nephew David Schramm; and his great-niece Brianna Becker.
He is survived by: his sister Dorris Chovanec; his siblings-in-law, Clarence Chovanec of La Grange and Annette Foerster of Lincoln; and his nieces and nephews, Allan Becker (Julie), Allene Schramm, Donald Becker (Teresa), Beverly Ramos (Nick), Teresa Carver (Matt), Brenda Glasgow (Scott), Tina Liccioni, Eva Morland, Deanna Lovell (Doug), Winston Boettcher, Jr. (Christie), Keith Knobloch (Paula), Larry Knobloch (Cyndi) and Kelly Knobloch (Natalie).
