David Garfield Caughman Obituary

We are sad to announce that on July 8, 2023, at the age of 71, David Garfield Caughman of La Grange, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Edward and Nathelia Caughman (Webb); and his brother-in-law Virgil Hurst. He is survived by: his former wife Cathy Caughman; his children, Shawn Caughman (Michelle) of La Grange, Crystal Richter (Chris) of La Grange and Tiffany Surman (Levi) of La Grange; his siblings, Jim Caughman of Corpus Christi, Jerry Caughman (Twila) of Oklahoma, Kevin Caughman of Oklahoma, Becky Carver and Bobbie Sue Hurst "Sista" (Ginger Glory); his grandchildren, Tyler Caughman, Dalton Caughman, Aubrey Graeter and Witten Graeter; and his friend Larry Land (Sparky). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Gardenia Janssen Animal Shelter in La Grange.
