He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Montgomery (Loretta) and Loretta Montgomery; his wife Bettie Jo (Reneau); his adoptive parent Dolph Snyder (Nellie); his sister-in-law Ola Mae Baker (Glenn) of Kingsbury; and his siblings, Joseph Montgomery of California, Robert Montgomery of Rhode Island, Agnes Maynard (Montgomery) of Connecticut and June Marie Henry of Austin.
He is survived by: his children, Stanley Roy Snyder (Aileen) of Glidden, Jo Nell Kazmir (Gene Kazmir) of Sheridan and Pam Snyder of Smithville; his sister Millie Friedel (Montgomery) of Newport News, VA; his brother-in-law Butch Reneau (Susie) of Seguin; his grandchildren, Cliff Kazmir (Stacy) of Cedar Creek and Kaci Kind of Sheridan; and his great grandchildren, Savannah Kazmir, Kassidy Kazmir and Jodi Kind. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Henneke Funeral Home (1515 Montezuma St, Columbus, TX 78934).
