He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Francis Slayden Tarver and Richard "Toby" Ray Tarver of San Benito. He is survived by: his daughters, Lori Garza Flores (Richie), Kerri Valencia (Kevin), Laura Hees-Garcia (Anibal) and Kimberly Nichole Hees; his grandchildren, Andy (Cassandra), Alex (Kiersten), Melynn, Loren, Tyler and Alice; his great grandchild Analissa; his sister Christie Lee Tarver Banks; and his nephews, Chad Bennett, Brent Mills and Justin Mills. He is also survived by cousins and friends.

It would be a great honor to him if donations were made to Sunshine Haven in Olmito in lieu of flowers.
