With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Reyes Zapata (La Feria, Texas), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 4, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Herminia Zapata; his parents, Francisco Zapata and Tomasa Zapata; and his siblings, Arnulfo Zapata and Benita Zapata.
He is survived by: his children, Agustin Zapata, Alicia Mancillas, Jorge Zapata (Rosa), Ernesto Zapata (Irene), Domingo Aguilar (Sylvia) and Rosalinda Lopez. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A prayer was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Heavenly Grace Funeral Home (26873 White Ranch Rd, La Feria, TX 78559). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A burial was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at the Heavenly Grace Memorial Park (26873 White Ranch Rd, La Feria, TX 78559).
