He was predeceased by: his parents, Pedro Zamarripa and Maria Zamarripa; and his siblings, Pete, Jr., Guadalupe Aguilar, Aurora Garza, Ninfa Garcia and Virginia Zamarripa.

He is survived by: his wife Nora Williams (Williams); and his sisters, Rebecca Ruiz, Rosemary Salinas (Raul), Frances Varela, Ernestina Garcia (Roberto), Adela Arroyo and Margarita Jimenez. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
