He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Gertrude McCarty and Raymond Lee McCarty; and his wife Louise McCarty. He is survived by: his children, Diana McCarty (Dale) and Mike McCarty (Katie); and his grandchildren, Candice Esquivel (Rene), Michelle McCarty, Kaytlyn Montes (Rogelio) and Joshua Santillan (Samantha). He is also survived by five great-grandsons, three great-granddaughters and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the Rio Grande Valley Humane Society, 1106 Markowsky Ave., Harlingen, TX 78550.
