We are sad to announce that on February 5, 2023, at the age of 78, Galen Franklin Watkins (La Feria, Texas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Galen H. Watkins and Doris Steed Watkins; his former wife Audrey Ann Secor; his son Raymond Andrew; and his siblings, Julia-Ann McAllister and Thomas.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Lee; his children, Ruthann Louise Van Buren (Michael), George Edwin Rogers, Jr. (Bonita Kay), Linda Lee Pheasant (James Troy), Lisa Lynn Cline (Scott Allen), Glenn Eugene Watkins (Robert Bauereiss) and Mary Abigail Newton (John David); his grandchildren, Ashley, Michael, Rachel, Amanda, Cassandra, Jessica, Lisa, Jordan Dustin, Meagan, Colleen, Mitchel, Taylor, Payton and Leeann; and his sister Sylvia Roberts (Keith). He is also survived by his 10 great grandchildren.
