We are sad to announce that on October 24, 2024, at the age of 91, Evangelina Escobar of La Feria, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Cresencio Cañas Escobar; her son Rene Gamboa Escobar; and her parents, Florentino Aranda Flores and Isidra Hernandez. She is survived by: her children, Sonia E. Camacho (Francisco Camacho), Criselda E. Vega (Jesus Vega), Dora Alicia Escobar (Gerardo Martinez), Raquel E. Medrano (Roberto Medrano), Eleazar Escobar (Connie Escobar), Arnoldo Escobar (Nereyda Escobar) and Cresencio Escobar Jr.. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 9:30 PM. A rosary was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 at 7:00 PM at the Heavenly Grace Funeral Home (26873 White Ranch Rd, La Feria, TX 78559). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Restlawn Memorial Park (14166 US-83 BUS, La Feria, TX 78559).
