He was predeceased by: his parents, Bessie Mae and Alwin Wilhelm Schwanke; and his children, Darrin and Dawna. He is survived by: his wife Geneda; his children, Michael Schwanke (Charmaine) of Tennessee and Jennie Mendelzon (Brant) of Texas; his stepchildren, Tim Spiess, Susan Barber and Ruth Ann Fenimore of Missouri; and his brothers, Clyde Schwanke and Norman Schwanke. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren, sister.
