He was predeceased by: his wife Juliana Hinojosa Loya; his son Francisco Hinojosa Loya (Dina); his brothers, Gabriel Loya, Jesus Loya, Francisco Loya, Juan and Blas Loya; his grandsons, Kevin Garcia and John Loya Jr.; and his great grandchild Alysha Ashley Loya.
He is survived by: his children, Javier Loya (Oralia Loya), Delia L. Perez (Hector Perez), Pedro H. Loya, Juan Hinojosa Loya and Santiago H. Loya (Lore Martinez); and his sisters, Angelica Loya and Lydia Loya. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
