She was predeceased by: her parents, Manuel Garza and Irma Garza Jr.. She is survived by: her son Joe Daniel Aguilar; and her siblings, Ruth Chapa, Lisa Nunez and Raul Garza. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
