She was predeceased by: her parents, Luis Zuniga and Guadalupe Zuniga; and her siblings, Jesus Zuniga, Luis Zuniga, Gloria Z. Castillo and Jose Rosario Zuniga.
She is survived by: her husband Guadalupe Benavides; her daughters, Aracely Cardenas and Maria Benavides; her grandchildren, Faith Ponce, Rodrigo Cardenas and Yamilex Garza; her great grandchildren, Rafael Garza and Sofia Camilla Garza; and her sisters, Rosalinda Zuniga and Margarita Zuniga.
