He was predeceased by: his parents, Alida Mangold and George Mangold; his brothers, Monte and Bobbie Mangold; and his in-laws, Ottalie and Chester Schmidt.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Schmidt Mangold; his children, Lanham Mangold (Marla), Leyton Mangold (Michele), Richelle Mangold and Tricia Chatham (Steven); his grandchildren, Logan (Avalon), Trent Mangold, Kandi, Korey, Kolton (Allie), Kingston Mangold, Kyon Chandler (Blake), Keydon Walter, Maddy and Cash Chatham; his great grandchildren, Grayson, Callum Mangold, Emmie Mangold, Doc Mangold and Blakelyn Chandler; and his sister Alida Ann Rappe.
