It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmie Eugene Warnke of La Coste, Texas, born in Sublette, Kansas, who passed away on February 21, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Warnke and Clara Dunker Warnke; his wife Sandra Kay Warnke; his son-in-law Bruce Saathoff; his siblings, Donald Warnke and Lahoma; and his brother-in-law Glynn McDaniel.
He is survived by: his children, Cindie Saathoff of Quihi, Carl (Paula Warnke) and Sherri (Rodger Welch); his grandchildren, Brian Saathoff (Nicole), Travers Warnke (Marcie), Casie Warnke, Jay Warnke (Diana), Jim Cody Welch (Allison) and Kimber Robinson (Jeff); and his great grandchildren, Slade Saathoff, Miles Saathoff, Taytum Welch, Tessa Welch, Jack Warnke, Eli Warnke, Lily Warnke, June Warnke and Sienna Robinson.
