He was predeceased by: his parents, William Santleben and Frieda Weber Santleben; his wife Myrtle Santleben; his brother Lloyd Santleben; and his siblings-in-law, Lil Santleben, William H. Santleben, Martha Santleben, Alvin Santleben, Sr. (Carmen "Johnnie"), Hilda Rogers, Claude Rogers, Inez Santleben, Ella Brieten, Elton Brieten, Clara Muennink, Amandus Muennink, Josephine Vance, Al Vance, Laura Reicherzer and Leo Reicherzer.
He is survived by: his children, Phyllis Santleben of Castroville, Deborah Jones of Castroville and Floyd Earl Santleben, Jr. (Marilyn); his grandchildren, Deborah Haegelin (Cody), Lauren Saathoff (Sam), Weston Santleben and Sophie Santleben; his great grandchildren, Zachary Haegelin and Tyler Haegelin; and his sister-in-law Adeline Weiblen of Castroville. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
