With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Cyril Octave Hooge of La Coste, Texas, born in Pearsall, Texas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Cyril Octave left this world on June 8, 2024 at the age of 93, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

As we bid Cyril Octave farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Cyril Octave is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Cyril S. Hooge and Emma Wauters Hooge; his close friend Mary Agnes Schmidt; and his siblings, Emil A. Hooge, Mary Koppelmann, Alice Hoffman, Henry Hooge, Lucille Hart, Louise Barnes and Anne Van Bavern. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends.

A Mass was held on Monday, June 17th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church (15825 Bexar St, Lacoste, TX 78009).
