It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bobby Mendez of La Coste, Texas, born in Castroville, Texas, who passed away on July 5, 2023, at the age of 51, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesus Estrada Mendez and Patricia Balderrama Mendez; his brother Jessie Mendez, Jr.; and his niece Melody Ann Flores. He is survived by: his siblings, Grace Trevino (William) of Seguin, Jo Ann Almanza of Redmond, WA, Jose Ruiz (Deborah) of La Coste, Jeannette Dischler (Darryl) of Littleton, CO, Diana Demski (Eric) of Castroville and Adrie Hinojosa; and his aunts and uncles, Manuel Mendez, Rudolfo Mendez, Sr., Jose Mendez, Fred F. Balderrama, Guadalupe F. Balderrama, Augustin F. Balderrama, Jr. (Beatrice), Fidel F. Balderrama (Lydia), Virginia Bramlett and Cordelia Jimenez. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
