He was predeceased by: his parents, Elzie Henry, and Schley H. Henry, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Joyce E. Henry (McKillip) of Kyle, Texas.; his children, Eugene Henry, Robert Henry (Mellisa Henry) and Cynthia Freeman (Thomas Freeman); his sister Grace Crane (David Crane); and his grandchildren, Ryan Henry, Daniel Henry (Cynthia Castillo), Justin Henry, Nicholas Henry, Virginia and Jarrett Henry.
