She was predeceased by: her mother Beatrice Delgado; and her sister Rebecca "Becky" Castillo. She is survived by: her father Miguel Delgado; her husband David Garza of Kyle; her children, Peggy Salinas (Art Salinas) of Lockhart, Carolyn Garza (Jason Sanchez) of Kyle, David Garza III of Kyle and Melissa Garza (Andrew Contreras) of Kyle; and her siblings, Susie Adams, Ricardo Delgado, Michael Delgado and Gilbert Delgado. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
